LESS THAN TWO MONTHS UNTIL I LEAVE!!! I am so excited. We are going to be having weekly meetings soon... don't know what we are going to be talking about there...

Got my plane tickets! I will be leaving the 11th out of Chicago, flying down to Miami and then flying to San Pedro!

About a week-and-a-half ago, my youth pastor, Dan, asked me if I wanted to go down earlier. Drive to Chicago and fly out from there. He said it would be cheaper. Until tonight I didn't know if I would be going down then, or on the 14th with the rest of the group. Tonight, Pastor Dan talked with my parents about going down earlier. They're not real excited about me being gone longer, but if this is what He has given me the ability to do then, and I quote, who are they to stand in the way? So, I will be heading out on the 11th instead of the 14th. A little change in plans.

First post on the site. I made this instead of sending you emails... maybe it's easier, maybe not. So far I have gotten five letters back. So cool to see how much people care! I have to turn in my first $500 by the 15th... soon! Got my passport on Monday!
